Lion Paper Plate Craft

We made this paper plate lion in 2014, they we're a great success as there is nothing a toddler likes more than spreading vast quantities of PVA glue over a plate.

I was inspired by similar paper plates on Pinterest that use pasta to make the mane, however I don't think pasta sticks that well, so decided to use yellow and gold crepe paper, and bright yellow and orange paper, providing a variety of textures. The face is made of yellow card, with large googly eyes and a black card nose.
