Snowman Advent Calendar

This Snowman Christmas Advent countdown calendar did require a lot of effort and access to a photocopier to be able to prepare thirty, however, it went down very well with the parents.

I'd used the wooly had craft before so already had a template set up. The snowman head was hand drawn, ensuring that the hat fitted, then I photocopied thirty. The carrot noses were made out of cardboard and fixed with a split pin.

I'd been given a pom-pom maker for my birthday, so I set about making 30 of the small size pom-poms - it's much quicker if you wrap two different coloured wools at once. I would definately recommend a pom-pom maker, it was a lot quicker than using the traditional ring method.

At the toddler group, the children decorated their hats with the pom-poms, material, sparkly paper and table confetti.
