GRR! Tiger Cup Craft

These tiger cups look fantastic, but compared to other paper cup crafts I've done, they actually need a lot of preparation, so maybe save this craft for a special occasion.

I used sticky backed foam for the black and sticky backed felt for the ears. I used sticky backed felt for the stripes with the prototype, and although they had a better overall effect, E (2.5yrs) found them more difficult to apply.

Each tiger has six diagonal stripes (3 for each side), plus three small rectangles on the back, plus a black nose and two white ears. The eyes are made with white 15mm stickers, with black dot stickers in the middle. The tail is made with half a pipe-cleaner, and the face is drawn on with a sharpie pen. I made a hole in the back of each cup for the tail to be poked through.

I found it easiest to set all the cups and ready and put them on the table with everything the toddlers needed so the craft was in kit form, this meant that I had prepared the right amount of stuff and I didn't need to put out lots of bowls with the different components.
