Penguin Craft

This craft is inspired by the blog craftingmorning. I love their version where they use handprints, however I don't find drawing round toddlers hands then cutting them out isn't very pratical at toddler group - not all children are willing to have their hands drawn round and then they get impatient waiting for their parent/career to cut out their hands, so this is our version.

I'm sure that they are going to be full of character depending on where the toddlers places their wings / beaks and eyes.

The body and wings are made of black card, the tummy is white paper, the feet orange paper, the beaks are orange sticky backed foam, and glittered cardboard is used for the scarf.

The toddlers made a fantastic rookery of penguins, the eyes were a bit tricky for little ones so maybe use eye stickers or bigger goggly eyes if doing for a large group.
