Father Christmas Paper Cups

I had a Father Christmas craft marathon yesterday experimenting with different ideas, so this is just a prototype. I concluded it's no good for toddler groups, but fun to do with older children. E who is very good at crafting for three years found it a bit too fiddly, however all my children loved him.

As it was just a prototype we pained our white cups red. The faces were a small circle of pink paper. We put cotton wool around the face, and the bottom of the cup; stuck on googly eyes and a sticker nose. The hat was cut out of paper, and the belt was a strip of sticky backed felt. Quite cute, and looks sweet under our paper cup Christmas Tree.
